My name is Eric Tjong Tjin Tai: first name is Eric, last name Tjong Tjin Tai. This leads to confusion, as I regularly see that people believe my last name is only Tai. In fact my name consists of three separate Chinese characters that were combined to form my complete official last name under the Dutch official citizen registration.
